Optionally, the motor support can be switched off automatically in all modes for pedelecs. In cell phone mode, the signal range between smartphone and BikeBell in an open area is approx. 100 meters.Decide for yourself how you want to be alerted and what should happen in the event of an alarm.The stand-alone modes work after you have activated them with the BikeBell, regardless of the mobile phone. Whenever the motion sensor detects a potential theft attempt, the loud BikeBell alarm sounds for 25 seconds. The alarm system can be switched off at any time using the BikeBell app. In stand-alone automatic mode, the alarm system switches itself on and off depending on the distance between the bike and cell phone. The distances can be freely configured in the BikeBell app. The alarm is triggered reliably and reproducibly by the BikeBells motion-sensitive technology, which is attached to the outside of the handlebar. This positioning creates a much greater deflection than with frame-mounted alarm systems.
